Alfred’s two-day gross of 151 (75-76) was the best score returned by any golfer and was three strokes better than his nearest rival in the Championship Flight, Jonathan Millen, who had scores of 77 on both days for a gross of 154, to place second while third was Adrian Sampson with 158 (79-79).
