Alfred’s two-day gross of 151 (75-76) was the best score returned by any golfer and was three strokes better than his nearest rival in the Championship Flight, Jonathan Millen, who had scores of 77 on both days for a gross of 154, to place second while third was Adrian Sampson with 158 (79-79).

Lee was an outright winner in the Women’s Championship with a gross score of 155, 78 on the first day and 77, the other. Karina Matabadal was second with a gross of 164, two strokes better than third-placed Pauline Figuera-Raynor (166).

The funds will go towards offsetting the cost of their upcoming Buddy Walk 2017. DSFN is focused on providing “parents or caregivers of persons with Down Syndrome…the resources, support and answers they need to educate and develop the full potential of these individuals throughout their lives”.
