Composite Index advances 0.27 points

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 18 securities of which two advanced, three declined and 13 traded firm.

Trading activity on the First Tier Market registered a volume of 354,211 shares crossing the floor of the Exchange valued at $2,143,643.01. GraceKennedy Limited was the volume leader with 169,784 shares changing hands for a value of $526,330.40, followed by Sagicor Financial Corporation Limited with a volume of 86,136 shares being traded for $671,721.49. Trinidad Cement Limited contributed 72,696 shares with a value of $189,009.60, while Scotiabank T&T Limited added 6,005 shares valued at $375,372.55.

National Flour Mills Limited registered the day’s largest gain, increasing $0.04 to end the day at $1.75. Conversely, Massy Holdings Limited registered the day’s largest decline, falling $0.09 to close at $47.41.

Clico Investment Fund was the only active security on the Mutual Fund Market, posting a volume of 438 shares valued at $8,830.08. It remained at $20.16.

In Monday’s trading session the following reflect the movement of the TTSE Indices:

° The Composite Index advanced by 0.27 points (0.02 per cent) to close at 1,229.54.

° The All T&T Index declined by 0.13 points (0.01 per cent) to close at 1,693.37.

° The Cross Listed Index advanced by 0.09 points (0.09 per cent) to close at 103.07.
